The Board of Directors of Tourism Charlottetown & the Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership is conducting an executive search for a Chief Executive Officer who will report to the President of the Board of Directors.
Tourism Charlottetown & the Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership is a not-for-profit, industry-led Destination Organization. Its mandate is to make Charlottetown a must-visit walkable seaside city that celebrates the Canadian dream and to make Prince Edward Island, Canada’s most in-demand seaside meeting and convention destination.
This is a company that practices an integrated approach to research, product development, sales and marketing, based on an understanding that tourism is multi-faceted and building a market mix is essential to success.

Qualifications:
• An undergraduate degree in a related discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong financial management skills
• Proven human resource management and leadership skills
• Ability to engage and win support of private and public sector partners
• Highly effective written and oral communication ability
• Proven strategic and business planning skills
• Highly motivated
