Queens County Residential Services Inc.(QCRS), a community based non-profit organization, serves the needs of adults with an intellectual disability.
This part-time position, reporting to the Executive Director, will be responsible for keeping financial records; establishing, maintaining and balancing accounts; posting journal entries; preparing financial statements, completing payroll through ADP, paying utilities and other bills; completing and submitting tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms and other government documents; and preparing statistical, financial and accounting reports.
The successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years experience with accounting practices, strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work with detailed and confidential information. You must have a post-secondary education and a strong familiarity with Simply Accounting and Corel Office Suite products.
