Reporting to the Chairman of the Prince Edward Island Potato Board, you will lead PEI’s most important agricultural commodity organization.  You will be responsible for fulfilling the mandate of the organization.  You will coordinate  research into new markets and products, manage day-to-day operations, have a good understanding and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry regulations and pursue new business opportunity for seed, tablestock and processing potatoes.

As the ideal candidate, you have extensive experience in the agricultural/potato industry having developed a wide range of organizational skills through a succession of increasing job responsibilities.  Highly organized, deadline driven, possessing superior written and verbal communication skills, you will ensure solid human resource management and financial abilities.  You have the ability to create sustainable working relationships with stakeholders as well as provincial and federal government representatives and the general public. Ideally, you have experience reporting to a Board of Directors.
