PROJECT ENGINEER
Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing operation of testing and technology development projects in support of WEICan’s mandate of wind testing and research, development and deployment of wind energy technologies.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a degree in Electrical Engineering with significant experience in electrical and instrumentation design and implementation. You must be knowledgeable in relevant CSA and CEC standards, as well as, experience working with CAD software packages and industrial projects.
A proven Supervisor, you will have strong written and oral communication skills, which are important functions to this position. Experience in wind power production technologies would be an asset. You are a member of, or eligible for membership in, the Association of Professional Engineers of Prince Edward Island. This position requires intermittent travel. You must be able to hold a passport and be willing to work flexible hours.
