PRESIDENT AND CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Due to the pending retirement of the current incumbent, the NLCA has a full-time position for President and Chief Administrative Officer.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for fulfilling the mandate and business plan of the Association, be accountable for managing day-to-day operations and monitoring project budgets, while ensuring that goals, timelines and expenditures are met. In conjunction with the Chair, the President and Chief Administrative Officer shall act as the principle spokesperson on all issues affecting the Association; act as liaison at all levels of Government regulatory authorities, other industry related Associations, representatives of the media and the public at large. The President and Chief Administrative Officer will be responsible for promoting the Association to prospective members.
As the ideal candidate, you have a Business Administration degree, Marketing or demonstrated comparable experience and training; a minimum of five years experience in a senior operations management role, prior affiliation with the Construction Association or a background in the Construction Industry would be considered an asset.
