As President and CEO of HRA, Wayne brings extensive experience in strategic and operational HR planning and implementation, as well as in project management.  Wayne has held various senior executive management portfolios in the public sector including: Deputy Minister of Transportation and Public Works; Assistant Secretary to Executive Council; Director of Employee Relations, Treasury Board; and Chief Director of Administration and Finance for the Department of Education. In addition to this experience in the public sector, Wayne's skills in strategic, financial and project management and in organizational restructuring are regularly called on in relation to assignments with HRA's clients. Wayne has managed large numbers of employees and been involved in all aspects of human resource management and labour relations including strategic and operational planning, contract negotiations, recruitment, performance development, and grievance handling.

A founding member of HRA, Wayne is the model President:  a visionary who understands the bottom line; an executive who isn't afraid to put the coffee on in the morning.  He is the consummate negotiator, knowing how to read signals and how to listen to people.  He also has an innate sense of timing.  When he isn't at the negotiating table or building the business, Wayne would like to be found on the Island's beautiful golf courses or spending time with his treasured grandchildren.
